Happy Halloween! On this episode I chat with Michael and Jason Leavy who are part of the team behind the TERRIFIER films, STREAM, the upcoming SCREAMBOAT, and their company Fuzz on the Lens Productions. We dive deep on their early film work, their Staten Island Clown prank that ended up getting national attention, working with cinema icons on their earlier feature ABNORMAL ATTRACTION, and of course the whole world of TERRIFIER and the family that has created these films that have revolutionized the industry by chainsawing through doors for independent cinema. A fun conversation captured in my room while at the Chiller Theater convention in New Jersey a week prior, and one that offers a lot of inspiration and insight for aspiring creatives. I also make an exciting announcement about joining another podcast, an update on my upcoming documentary film KUKSI, wax nostalgic about the Halloween nights of my youth, and more.

Welcome to my nightmare! Episode 36 is dedicated to all things Alice Cooper, featuring three long interviews with the icon on his music, family, film work, and beyond. Also included are interviews with Rachel Talalay (who directed Alice in FREDDY'S DEAD), Rob Stefaniuk (who directed Alice in SUCK), Jake the Snake Roberts (who Alice accompanied to the ring at Wrestlemania 3), and music video pioneer Jeffrey Abelson (who directed the video for He's Back: The Man Behind the Mask, the theme song for FRIDAY THE 13TH: JASON LIVES).I have interviewed and spent time with Alice many times over the years, and there is no better way to celebrate October and the spooky season than with this nearly three-hour exploration of his life and career. Alice is candid and revealing, telling stories behind his youth, music, PRINCE OF DARKNESS, MONSTER DOG, JASON LIVES, sobriety, family life, love for horror films, and so so much more. A truly grand celebration of all things Coop!AliceCooper.comJustinBeahm.com

Episode 34 is my extensive interview with John Carpenter on HALLOWEEN and the films that followed in the franchise, originally recorded in 2012 for inclusion in what was intended to be the the official HALLOWEEN series book that sadly never came to fruition. John is candid about the franchise, his pre-HALLOWEEN movie and television work including HE KNOWS YOU'RE ALONE and ELVIS, the impact that THE THING had on his career, and more. A truly singular discussion with a cinema icon about his signature motion picture and what it inspired.

Episode 31 is an archival interview with Crispin Glover, originally recorded for an expansive career-spanning retrospective in Fangoria magazine that ran over two issues. Crispin and I go deep into his background as the son of a cinema icon (Bruce Glover), his early ventures into acting, his big break that ended up changing the film landscape for all actors in Back to the Future, and on to his directorial efforts that include What Is It? and It Is Fine! Everything Is Fine!. It is probably the most extensive interview Crispin has ever granted, and a sincere honor to have been part of. Also included are voicemails from listeners on the topic of favorite theatrical experiences, my favorite moviegoing memories, and more.
